Supreme Pizza Hand Pies

A rich supreme pizza filling is sandwiched between flaky pie dough, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning and then baked to make for a flaky iteration of pizza night! 


Hand Pie Crust Flour Salt Unsalted Butter Apple Cider Vinegar Ice Water Pizza Filling Olive Oil Italian Sausage Onion Bell Pepper Garlic Pizza Sauce Pepperoni Italian Seasoning Garlic Powder Mozzarella Cheese Parmesan Cheese Egg Wash

Step 1

Begin by making the hand pie crust.  Note: The dough needs to be refrigerated for at least 4 hours.

Step 2

Make the supreme pizza filling.

Step 3

Roll out dough on a well floured surface.  Cut dough into rectangles about 3 x 4 inches.  Place roughly 3 tablespoons or so of filling in the middle of a rectangle.

Step 4

Place one pastry rectangle on top, taking care to seal the edges.Brush with oil, seasoning and parmesan.

Step 5

Chill the filled hands pies, before baking in a preheated 400ºF oven and baking until golden brown.

Step 6

Let the pies cool slightly before serving. Serve with pizza sauce, for dipping, if desired.
