Dark Chocolate Pudding
Homemade Chocolate Pudding is the unsung hero of easy-to-whip-up desserts. It's made using common kitchen ingredients, takes only about 15 minutes to put together and is ridiculously good.

– Dark Chocolate
– Whole Milk
– Granulated Sugar
– Egg Yolks
– Vanilla Extract
– Unsalted Butter
– Pinch salt

Start by gathering all of your ingredients, this is a quick recipe and it's best to have everything ready ahead of time.
Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
Whisk together sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium pot. Whisk in the egg yolks and milk until fully combined. Add in the chopped chocolate.
Cook the mixture over medium heat until bubbling and thickened.
Pour the thickened pudding through a fine-mesh strainer and into a bowl. Whisk in the butter and extract.
Pour the pudding into individual containers, if desired. You can serve warm, or chill and serve cold.
When ready to serve, whip cream and decorate as desired, adding chocolate shavings or crushed Oreos to the top.
